This floor plan worked well for us. I really liked having easy access to the cupboards above and below the kitchen sink, from the living room side. Having the kitchen at the entrance was a convenience when carrying in groceries. There are hardwood floors in the kitchen and toilet room, with carpet everywhere else. The separate toilet room was also been very important to us, so we could make better use of bathroom facilities when we were getting ready to go someplace. Instead of an accordion wall between the front bedroom and the bathroom, there is a wall with a pocket door. This was also appreciated.
